Enhancing the Roar User Experience

This project gives the student the ability to impact researchers by making them more efficient while developing some tools that allow the student to learn prediction.
The overall project has the following imbedded projects:
1) Implementation of a salesforce automation application. The application will allow the student to gain experience in configuring the application, developing APIs to make the application more robust, and developing scripts to import/export data and produce reports.
2) Development of a researcher resources sheet application – This application will connect to a variety of ICDS systems, including the new Salesforce application. The script will access our SLURM management system, our iLAB system, and our storage platform to produce a report for ICDS to use when talking to PIs about their resources and their usage of those resources
3) AI/ML tool to analyze a PI’s lab users utilization of the Roar system do determine the optimal combination of configurations of computing resources that will maximize their research output with respect to $$ spent on those resources.
