Quantum SuperSEED: Fostering Scientific Collaborations
The workshop, coordinated in tandem with the ICDS Symposium, seeks to enhance the visibility of, and advance quantum sciences, computing and technologies across Penn State. This full-day workshop is open to all Penn State faculty, researchers and students (graduate students and postdocs only?) within any discipline who have an interest in applying quantum sciences methodologies to their research.
Attendees will have the opportunity to listen to keynotes and short presentations and participate in collaborative breakout sessions. Sessions will cover topics such as quantum literacy and research, quantum algorithms and artificial intelligence, systems engineering, and more.
This workshop will also introduce the Quantum SuperSEED Grant program which covers a variety of different topics in quantum sciences and is designed for Penn State researchers who are interested in pursuing groundbreaking research in quantum sciences and technology. Attendees will learn about how to submit their high-impact interdisciplinary research proposals for consideration.
