The ICDS Symposium will include ICDS Connects, several activities designed to connect faculty, students, and industry representatives with one another.
State of Industry
Representatives from our premier sponsors will have the chance to provide brief remarks on the state of data science within their industry, including challenges they face, solutions they have developed, and ways they can partner with Penn State researchers.
Poster Session
The poster session represents some of the best data science-related research taking place throughout Penn State. Here, industry representatives can interact with up-and-coming graduate students as well as faculty members from dozens of disciplines. For more information on submitting a poster, visit our poster session page.
Product Briefings
Industry sponsors have the opportunity to share cutting-edge services and products to attendees in virtual breakout rooms during the ICDS Connects sessions.
Faculty Lightning Talks
A select group of faculty will provide two-minute presentations about one project to industry representatives and potential faculty collaborators.
Guidelines
- Each faculty member must use the ICDS Quad Chart Template. Download this, enter information about your project, rename the document to include your last name, and upload your file below.
- Talks will be selected by members of the ICDS Symposium planning committee to ensure representation of a broad array of disciplines.
- Lightning talks are open to only Penn State faculty members.
