Running a Simple Roar Job on Open OnDemand

NOTE: The Roar cluster is a restricted data environment and is used only for the storage and analysis of protected data. Access to the Roar cluster is available only through a paid allocation; most users should use the Roar Collab cluster for general computing and data storage needs.

Historically, making use of high performance computing resources required entering code in an SSH command line window. But the Open OnDemand interface now offers access to Roar and Roar Collab resources online in a graphical, menu-based environment.

You can use this tool to access your allocated storage and compute resources, or to submit jobs to the “open queue.”
